I spent five minutes with the 8-figure coach you’re fan-girling over and it taught me exactly what not to do in business.
I walked away asking, “People pay you how much? For that?” Because honestly, my three-year-old speaks with more substance.
And before the inevitable chorus of “You’re just projecting your money blocks!” begins, let’s be clear: this isn’t about limiting beliefs, jealousy, or hating on another woman’s success.
That’s the narrative we’ve all been conditioned to use to silence female discernment and gaslighting at its finest. And I should know. I was coercively controlled in a relationship for six years. I know what it feels like to be told your intuition is wrong and to second guess every move you make.
This isn’t about tearing women down. It’s about pulling the mask off an industry that tells us it’s about empowerment when, in truth, it’s replicating the very systems we’re supposed to be dismantling.
Because what I witnessed in that five-minute exchange wasn’t leadership. It was performance.
A hollow echo of buzzwords about sovereignty and magnetism. And an interaction with a woman who’s mastered the aesthetic of empowerment while perpetuating the same extractive, hierarchical structures that have kept women small for centuries.
This is a critique of female empowerment being used as a double agent for the capitalist patriarchy.
It’s a critique of women who say they support other women, but then replicate the exact systems of oppression we’re actively trying to disrupt, placing themselves atop untouchable pedestals.
It’s a critique of being sold the “all girls together” narrative when the reality is an expensive clique with no real substance.
It’s a critique of unacknowledged privilege being marketed as grit and sovereignty.
The bubble is bursting, discernment is in, energetics don’t lie and we’re all tired of being taken for a ride.
None of this should come as a surprise when you understand what’s happening through the lens of Human Design, specifically the significance of 2027.
We are standing at the threshold of a massive evolutionary leap. 2027 marks the end of a 412-year global cycle: a full transit through the background frequency that has shaped the last four centuries of human life, business and power dynamics.
Just as our personal charts move through transits that activate and shift aspects of our Design, so too does the planet. The Earth’s background frequency (the energy we’re all swimming in and interacting with) is shifting gates and we are moving from a tribal energy to individual energy.
And while that might sound abstract, it’s the very key to understanding why the old models of success, business, and leadership are starting to collapse.
The last 412 years, since the 1600s, have been shaped by tribal frequency. This is energy that centers around community, loyalty, shared resources, and protection of the group. It’s also the energy that fuels institutions, nations, industry and collective identity.
In that same era, we saw:

The peak of the witch trials in the UK and Europe (the ultimate suppression of feminine power)

Tribal energy built civilizations but it also built hierarchies. It thrives on belonging and exclusion, on leaders and followers, on centralized control and “the greater good.” It’s the frequency that gave us organized religion, nations, corporations, and, yes, eight-figure coaching empires.
But as the background frequency shifts in 2027, that tribal paradigm loses its power source.
We are moving into an era of individual energy. Not the egoic, self-serving, selfish kind our thoughts can easily go to first, but the individuated, self-led, fully expressed kind.
The kind of individuality that says: “I know who I am. I trust my energy. I don’t need to buy belonging.”
This shift is, at its core, feminine and you can already feel it making an entrance.
The extractive practices, centralization and authority built on illusion and Stripe screenshots are crumbling. The glossy marketing that once hypnotized entire audiences now falls flat. People can feel when the energy doesn’t match the words.
What’s replacing it isn’t the opposite extreme. It’s not another empire disguised in “divine feminine” branding. It’s an entirely new frequency.
One that values discernment over devotion, depth over display, integrity over influence and energy over image.
Money-making itself is mutating from patriarchal (extractive, linear, dominating) to matriarchal (cyclical, sustainable, nourishing).
We are leaving behind the paradigm where success is built on scarcity and manipulation and entering one where prosperity flows through energetic alignment, coherence and resonance. I can literally see this happening in real time in my Insta feed.
And the irony?
The people still chasing “more” through the old systems - the ones seeking more followers, more clients, more money to prove their worth to themselves - will find those systems stop working. Not because they’re being punished, but because the energetic infrastructure simply isn’t compatible anymore.
The coaching industry has been a microcosm of the 412-year cycle of tribal hierarchies disguised as empowerment.
We’ve been sold the “empowered woman” archetype: perfectly styled, endlessly magnetic and financially liberated, but what’s often hiding beneath is performance-based worth, overconsumption, scarcity mode and spiritual bypassing dressed up as self-trust.
And to be clear, there’s nothing wrong with women making millions.
One of my biggest drivers is getting more money into the hands of more women who have done the inner work and have integrity so they can use that money with integrity and intent. Good things happen when women have more money.
Why? Because I know what it’s like to have no financial power of your own. I was in a coercive relationship for 6 years and part of that experience was financial abuse. I know money brings choices, opportunities and freedom, not just for you, but for the world around you as well. And I know what that feels like when it’s taken away.
The problem is when empowerment becomes a commodity when mentorship turns into mimicry, and leadership becomes a marketing performance.
It’s when the message of “you can have it all” quietly becomes “as long as you buy it from me.”
The very same patriarchal energetics (think hierarchy, extraction, worship of productivity) are being repackaged in a glittery, feminine aesthetic. And women, tired and craving liberation, are being sold a dream that keeps them just as trapped.
The new paradigm doesn’t reject money, business, or ambition.It redefines the frequency they’re built upon.
In the new cycle, the leaders who thrive will not be the loudest voices or the ones with the biggest followings. They will be the ones whose energy is clean, who are integrity led and understand individual energy isn’t about self-centred, self-serving actions but self-expressed, responsible, accountable and anchored in self-trust.
We are moving into an era where:
Depth replaces display when the “vibe” has to be backed by lived embodiment.
Resonance replaces reach. You don’t need a million followers; you need alignment.
Transparency replaces theatrics because in this post-truth world we’re in, people crave truth, not optics.
Energy replaces effort when forcing no longer magnetizes, it repels.
