Statement.

I hold a Diploma in Life Coaching (with Distinction) from The Blackford Centre and I regularly partake in additional continued professional development (CPD).

I am part of the Sheffield Coaching Exchange; a group for coaches in my region to share best practice and develop our skill set. I hold professional insurance underwritten by Hiscox.

I work openly and honestly, with integrity and with respect to you.

I am committed to understanding and championing those with different life experiences to me, and work to understand and decolonialise my coaching practice. I am a work in progress and will make mistakes. I am committed to learning from any mistakes and using them to further my knowledge and anti-racist practices. I am committed to intersectional feminism.

I don’t coach men. If you identify as any other gender, this space is for you.

I do not coach anyone under the age of 18, or anyone currently suffering from an eating disorder or undergoing treatment for drug or alcohol addiction.

All potential long term 1:1 clients must partake in a clarity call with me - this is an important factor in deciding whether we will be a good coaching fit. I will tell you if I do not think we will work well together and I trust you will do the same either on the call or afterwards via email.

If I am unable to offer you coaching, I will recommend other coaches or professionals who may be better suited.

Before we start to work together, I will provide clear documentation to you about the roles, responsibilities and rights for all involved in the coaching. This comes in the form of a contract, which we both must sign before coaching can take place.

I am committed to your right to confidentiality and will be clear about the legal requirements in which confidentiality cannot be maintained. More details are provided in my client contract.

Personal data is fairly and lawfully processed, maintained and stored. You can view my privacy policy below and more details are provided in my client contract.

I am required to keep myself informed of, and comply with, (a) current best business practices and (b) legal requirements that may affect my work.

During our sessions, if it becomes apparent that therapy, counselling or other professional support in addition to, or instead of, coaching is needed. I will speak to you directly.

I strive to recognize both personal issues and professional limitations that may impair or conflict with my coaching ability.
